A fine late 19th century navigators Sextant with a  rare 'lozenge' style frame design. the sextant is beautifull hand ngraved on the arc Heath & Co Ltd, Crayford, London, 

The silver scale is engraved from -5  degrees to 150 degrees and can measure angles up to 127 degrees, it is divided into 10 minute increments. The index arm has swinging scale magnifier, the silver Vernier scale reads from 0 to 10 seconds of arc. 6.5 inch radius.

It is contained within its original fitted hardwood box with carry handle and lined with green Baize.

this sextant is complete with four telescopes, one eyepiece sun filter and mirror adjusting tool.
