Antique Trinity House Lighthouse keepers signal lantern.

A complete and original lighthouse keepers signal lamp, constructed from brass with thick glass bullseye lens. Complete with original internal light shutter mechanism, flame reflector and original candle holder.

Swing carry handle with wooden bail, rear mounted handle, side mounted light shutter lever with finger brace below. Hinged top for access with locking thumb screw.

Sliding side inspection window to check the flame is still burning and the lamp is still emitting light.

Height to top of chimney 13.5 inches / 34cm Max height inc handle: 16.5 inches / 42cm.

This lantern can be supplied polished if required.
