Antique sailor made ship model. No.9

A sailor made & scratch built model of a three masted fully rigged sailing ship. The windjammer is shown under full sail with square sails, headsails and staysails set. The sails are made from tinplate which have been painted. The model is accurately made and has nice proportion's, The ships hull is painted with the traditional fake gun ports that were common on merchant sailing ships during the late 19th / early 20th century. The model is mounted on a simulated putty sea and contained within a scratch built hardwood and glass display case.
